Title: *The 3-2-1 Backup Rule for Photographers*

I learned this the hard way (RIP, 2019 travel folder). The golden rule: 3 copies, 2 formats, 1 offsite. Keep your main copy on your computer’s SSD. A second copy on an external hard drive. A third copy in the cloud (Backblaze or Amazon Photos). Do this every single week. And please—format your memory card only after you’ve confirmed all three copies. Backups aren’t sexy, but neither is crying into a corrupted drive at 2 AM. Set a calendar reminder for Sunday night.
